Summer Adventure Sailing
In the summer holidays we take advantage of the great weather to organise some longer and more adventurous voyages.

No Sailing Experience Necessary
Summer Adventure voyages normally include longer offshore journeys, often involving spending the night at sea, as well as the opportunity to visit remote places and spend time exploring them.
In many years we also take part in races or events such as the Tall Ships Races or Small Ships Races along with other sail training vessels crewed by young people. These events mix challenging offshore sailing with social and cultural activites for crews, arranged by the host ports.

Summer Channel Explorer
This voyage is perfect for those looking to spend a longer period exploring the coastline by boat. Starting and finishing from Poole, the second largest natural harbour in the world, you are ideally placed to visit the Channel Islands and France, as well as staying in England to explore the stunning Jurassic Coast and West Country.
This voyage will include lots of opportunities to go ashore and explore new places, as well as seeing incredible natural beauty, and of course enjoying great sailing and training.
Mayflower Small Ships
In 2021, Bright Star is due to take part in the Mayflower Small Ships' Race, organised by ASTO (Mayflower 400 Small Ships Race). This is an exciting, once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of the commemorations of the Mayflower's departure to the Americas.
