The Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards scheme (DofE), is the world’s leading youth achievement award, encouraging millions of young people to challenge themselves and inspiring them to change their lives and communities.
MST is proud to be an Accredited Activity Provider for both the Residential and Expedition sections of the DofE awards.
All of our DofE voyages are open to those with no previous sailing experience.
Bronze, Silver and Gold Sailing Expeditions
You can complete your expedition at sea either as an individual or as part of a group.
By the end of the voyage the expedition participants will be responsible for sailing the boat, with the absolute minimum of support from the onboard skipper. This is an opportunity to learn new skills whilst completing your expedition in a totally different way!

Gold Sailing Residentials
All our youth voyages of at least five days are eligible for the Gold Residential. We run week-long residential voyages throughout the year, as well as longer and more challenging voyages in the summer holidays. All participants on residential voyages will also have the opportunity to gain recognised RYA qualifications.
